REQUEST:

Title

Consider a request by Denton Commons LLC and Wind River Lodging Ltd for approval of a Final Plat of Lots 1 and 2, Block A of the Denton Commons Addition. The 3.73 acre site is generally located west of the I-35E Service Road, approximately 405 feet north of Wind River Lane. (FP17-0015, Denton Commons, Hayley Zagurski).

NUMBER OF LOTS:

Two commercial lots

 

BACKGROUND:

The purpose of this plat is to create two commercial lots of record for development. Lot 1 is intended to be developed with a hotel, and the plans for the development of Lot 2 are unknown. A preliminary plat of both lots was previously approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission on October 11, 2017.

 

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

The technical requirements of the plat have been met, and the plat is in order as submitted.  The proposed plat complies with all subdivision regulations, and staff recommends approval.
