REQUEST:

Title

Consider a request by Denton Commons, LLC for approval of a Preliminary Plat of Lot 1 and Lot 2, Block A, of the Denton Commons Addition. The approximately 4 acre site is generally located west of the I-35E Service Road, approximately 405 feet north of Wind River Lane. (PP16-0015, Denton Commons, Julie Wyatt).

Regional Center Commercial Downtown (RCC-D) and Regional Center Residential 1 (RCR-1) Districts

 

NUMBER OF LOTS:

Two commercial lots

 

BACKGROUND:

The purpose of the Preliminary Plat is to create two commercial lots to develop Lot 1, Block A with a hotel. Currently, there are no development plans proposed for Lot 2, Block A. Approval of a final plat is required prior to development.

 

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

The technical requirements of the plat have been met, and the plat is in order as submitted.  The proposed plat complies with all subdivision regulations, and staff recommends approval.
