REQUEST:

Title

Consider a request by Randall Smith for approval of a Final Plat of Lot 1, Block 1 and Lots 2 and 3, Block 2, North Elm Street Addition.  The 12.97 acre site is generally located on the western side of the Riney Road and North Elm Street intersection.  (FP17-0003, Discovery Park Apartments, Hayley Zagurski).

NUMBER OF LOTS:

Three lots

 

BACKGROUND:

The purpose of the final plat is create three platted lots from a previously unplatted tract of land. Lots 1 and 2 are intended for multi-family development, and Lot 3 is not intended to be developed at this time. The final plat also dedicated a 70-foot wide right-of-way for the extension of Discovery Boulevard between Riney Road and North Elm Street.

 

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

The technical requirements of the plat have been met, and the plat is in order as submitted. The proposed plat complies with all subdivision regulations, and staff recommends approval.
