Receive a report from AGL public communications staff regarding the status of the 35Express Project with an emphasis on the North Segment.

BACKGROUND

35Express Public Information representatives will provide an update to the Mobility Committee on the 35Express Project to include overall project schedule, recent and upcoming project elements in the Denton Corridor and an overview of major elements in the South and Middle Segments of the project.  Specific components to be discussed include but are not limited to the following:

 

                     NT Boulevard Bridge

                     Sound Wall - UNT

                     McCormick Street Bridge & Ramps

                     US 77/Dallas Drive Bridge and On-Ramp

                     Lillian Miller/288 southbound off ramp

                     Post Oak Bridge

                     Major Developments in the Middle and South Segments

o                     Lake Bridge

o                     FM 407

o                     Direct Connects to Sam Rayburn/121

o                     635 Interchange

 

The briefing will provide the Mobility Committee the opportunity to raise additional questions on overall 35Express project.  AGL and City Staff are coordinating a community meeting to be held at City Hall during late October of this year.  At the time this report was submitted, a final date and arrangements were not finalized.
