Title
Consider approval of a resolution of the City of Denton declaring the completion of the work of the Ad Hoc City Council Historic Landmark Committee and dissolving the same; and declaring an effective date.

BACKGROUND
This committee was created by a resolution of City Council, Resolution No. R2014-029. On May 10, 2016, the Ad Hoc City Council Historic Landmark Committee met; during this meeting the committee agreed to formally dissolve the committee having met the objectives for which it was established.
OPTIONS
1. Proceed with the dissolution of the Ad Hoc City Council Historic Landmark Committee.
2. Refrain from dissolving the Ad Hoc City Council Historic Landmark Committee.
3. Postpone action on the dissolution of the Ad Hoc City Council Historic Landmark Committee
