Title

Receive a report from Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) staff to include State of the Agency, passenger enhancements, bus operations and DCTA capital projects.

BACKGROUND

DCTA staff will provide a quarterly briefing to the Mobility Committee and the Traffic Safety Committee to include State of the Agency, recent enhancements to the DCTA system to include passenger amenities, expanded service and future planning initiatives.  The briefing will provide the Mobility Committee with a status report on the following initiatives and programs:

 

                     State of the Agency

                     Connect Service Enhancements

                     Passenger Amenities

                     Rail Trail Update

                     35W Corridor Service Implementation

                     Long-Range Strategic Planning

o                     High Intensity Commuter Corridors

o                     A-train Extension

o                     Land Use & Station Density

 

The briefing will provide the Mobility Committee the TSC the opportunity to raise additional questions on overall DCTA operations.  Jim Cline, DCTA President will facilitate this agenda item and will provide hand outs of the Power Point presentation to the Mobility Committee for reference.
