Consider recommending approval of awarding a Software Perpetual Licensing Agreement that allows Denton Municipal Electric to provide an Online Customer Dashboard for all customers to PicoTera Systems, based on proposal evaluation criteria, as provided for in the Request for Proposal #6067 in the amount not to exceed $225,000 over a three year term.

BACKGROUND
Denton Municipal Electric would like to offer its customers access to all their electric consumption data along with tools to understand and improve their usage patterns, determine their best rate option, estimate monthly billing, and visually understand behavior changes and energy efficiency upgrade benefits.

OPTIONS
Accept the Committee’s recommendation to award the contract to PicoTera Systems based on the selection criteria.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends accepting the Committee’s recommendation and award the contract to PicoTera Systems. In an amount not to exceed $225,000.
FISCAL INFORMATION
This customer online dashboard is budgeted by DME for FY2017.
