Title: Consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton authorizing the Interim City Manager to execute an Interlocal Cooperation Contract in the form of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City of Denton and the Denton Independent School District (DISD), for reimbursement to the City in the estimated amount of $511,111 for compensation and benefits of six Student Resource Officers (SROS) assigned at DISD for the initial period of July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027; automatically renewing the MOU for the periods of July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2028, and July 1, 2028, through June 30, 2029; authorizing the Superintendent of DISD and the Interim City Manager (or their successor) to amend the MOU without DISD Board of Trustee or City Council approval to reflect future changes in the amount of reimbursement from DISD to the City only if the increase is not greater than ten (10) percent from the preceding school year's reimbursement; and providing an effective date.
