Consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation, authorizing the approval of a first amendment to a contract between the City of Denton and Our Daily Bread, Inc., amending the contract approved by City Council on March 21, 2023, in the not-to-exceed amount of $1,040,803.00; said first amendment to provide additional funding for charges through the contract term for the Ready to Work Program for the Solid Waste and Recycling Department; providing for the expenditure of funds therefor; and providing an effective date (RFP 7988 - providing for an additional first amendment expenditure amount not-to-exceed $260,200.00, with the total contract amount not-to-exceed $1,301,003.00). The Public Utilities Board recommends approval (4 - 0).
