RFP INFORMATION

This service is used to provide pavement markers for the motoring public and increase public safety on our streets and school zones. RFP #6358 consists of the labor, material, and supervision necessary to complete installations of pavement markers under the direction of the City of Denton Traffic Operations Department. The RFP also covers all administrative and insurance costs incurred by the contractor.  This agreement will not guarantee any minimum amounts of pavement markings and will be used on an as needed basis.

Requests for Proposals were sent to 147 suppliers. In addition, specifications were placed on the Materials Management website for prospective suppliers to download and advertised in the local newspaper. Four (4) proposals were received, evaluated and ranked based upon the published criteria shown on Exhibit 1. Based on the evaluation criteria, Striping Technology, LP received the highest evaluated score and was determined to be the best value for the City.
